Television
I’ve interviewed people from all walks of life, from high-profile figures to those with powerful, untold stories. With experience on national news and current affairs programmes, I’m accustomed to working in high-pressured environments with tight ever-changing deadlines.
BBC Breakfast interview with Rishi Sunak
I researched and wrote the brief for the BBC Breakfast presenters for the final interview with the Prime Minister, Rishi Sunak, before the General Election. I went through all the manifestos, fact-checked numbers and statistics and listened to previous interviews he had done for a thorough interview. Broadcast 3rd July 2024.
BBC Breakfast TV package - Cystic Fibrosis medication advancement
This was an original exclusive story I pitched, developed and produced that resulted in this long news package and guest. This had multi-platform rollout on other news programmes and internationally on the BBC News Channel. Broadcast November 2023.
BBC Breakfast TV package - Cardiac Risk in the Young
This was another original piece of impactful journalism produced and developed by myself after seeing an interesting Facebook post from a friend. I turned that interesting idea into a national TV piece that went on TV, radio and online. Broadcast February 2025.
BBC News at One TV Package - Asian Hornets
An example of a story I produced in a short time period, involving extensive health and safety paperwork to facilitate a correspondent to film on the roof of a building with bees. Broadcast June 2024.
BBC News at One Package - Notre-Dame
I worked with a correspondent remotely from the newsroom to source high quality agency pictures for this new package. Broadcast November 2024.
